The Year Of Celebrating Community
In 2024, YouTube redefined on-platform brand storytelling through an innovative celebration of creator community. Across 46 countries, we honored 50 unique communities through bespoke logo takeovers known as "Yoodles" complemented by branded videos on our YouTube channel featuring Rubik's Cubers, Yogis, Drag Queens, DJs, BookTubers, and more.
These “Yoodles” (joyful, localized transformations of the YouTube logo) embody what we care most about: the creators who make our platform extraordinary. Yoodles have become the pinnacle of creative brand storytelling, building meaningful connections and inspiring cultural celebration. Take a look >>

Here’s how it works...
We use platform data to discover and spotlight both niche and thriving YouTube communities. In 2024, YouTube's creative team collaborated with 50 external artists from 24 countries to craft custom Yoodle designs. The Yoodles linked to curated community playlists helmed by YouTube produced celebratory videos that showcased over 400 creators from around the globe.
All of these video celebrations live on our YouTube channel (youtube.com/youtube), the ultimate destination for celebrating the richness of our creator ecosystem.

2024 Yoodle Videos:
And the celebration doesn’t stop on platform
Yoodles are amplified across social media, out-of-home activations like billboards in Times Square and Los Angeles, media coverage in outlets like Forbes and People, Reddit and Twitter crowdsourcing, creator gifting, and IRL Creator Collective events. From hidden in-video Easter eggs to shorts and reels, every touchpoint is designed to expand the conversation and deepen the connection between YouTube, its creators, and fans worldwide.
The Impact? Huge.
In 2024, YouTube's channel—home to our Yoodle community celebrations—reached 42 million subscribers, over 85 million views, nearly 1 million hours of watchtime, and 8 billion impressions.
YouTube thrives because of its creators, and Yoodles are how we honor their creativity, passion, and power to inspire.
